Terms and conditions

You must accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined on the Search the Images page to gain access to the database.  You will then be able to search by PLACE or SUBJECT using the drop-down lists of categories provided.

Viewing and printing

The results of your search are displayed as thumbnail images, 8 per page.  You can navigate by using the Next and Previous buttons or by going to specific page numbers.  The title appears as the cursor rests on an image.  Click on a thumbnail image to:

- enlarge it
- obtain more information about the image
- see an enlarged image
- print off a free low resolution copy of the image
- order a high quality, glossy photographic copy of the image, if required
